Center news : The Ibn Khaldoun Medical Center 19 years of experience

We are delighted to announce that our center is celebrating its 19th anniversary, marking almost two decades of dedicated service to our community.

We are deeply grateful for your continued support which has contributed to our success and growth over the years.

Since our opening (1st Tunisian private oncology center since 2005 and 1st ISO certified center), we have been committed to providing the highest quality care. Thanks to our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and our cutting-edge services, we have been able to achieve remarkable levels of excellence in all aspects.

The CMIK continues to develop new radiotherapy techniques in Tunisia.

Recent acquisitions are:

• PituitaryThe dedicated 4D Radiotherapy scanner, all options and dual energy (1st scanner in Africa)
• The new dosimetry TPS: Eclipse V18 and Acuros (first in Tunisia)
• Artificial intelligence.

Thus the developed technical platform of the CMIK ensures the following services:

• Pituitary3D RT: Three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (since 2013)
• IMRT / VMAT: Conformal radiotherapy with intensity modulation and IGRT: Image-guided radiotherapy (since 2014)
• Intracranial stereotactic radiotherapy (since 2016)
• Extracranial stereotactic radiotherapy (since 2020): vertebral, pulmonary, pelvic bone, etc.
• FFF radiotherapy (since 2018)
• Blocked inspiration radiotherapy (DIBH: Deep Inspiration Breath Hold) for breast cancer (since 2021).

Furthermore, we are pleased to point out that in addition to radiotherapy, the CMIK also provides:

• PituitaryChemotherapy (day hospital and concomitant radio-chemotherapy)
• Nuclear medicine (scintigraphies and metabolic radiotherapy)
• Pain treatment and supportive oncological care
• Oncogeriatrics (only center in Tunisia since 2022).
